Canadian Oil Shortage (explained)

A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have such an oil shortage in Canada.
The answer is very simple.
Nobody bothered to check the oil. We simply didn't know we were getting low.
The reason is purely geographical.
All of our oil is in Alberta....
....all of our dipsticks are in Ottawa.
